Favicons

Published by Barbara at 7:30 am under Website Tools & Information

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

You know those small icons that you see in your browser address bar? Those are called favicons. You can see one when you type in www.OlderWiserWomen.com .

Well I found this website where you can take your image and it turns it into a favicon. Then it tells you exactly how you need to upload it, and where to put the code on your pages.

I just did one for www.ActingYourAge.com .

You can find the tool here: Favicon maker- Create a favicon from any image

Now, if someone can tell me how to add it to the wordpress code, I’d be a happy favicon maker!

Share and Enjoy:These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages.
